Adelphi Pool

This year I will have a synchronized swimming class the week of June 27th to July 1st (5 days) from 7:00 pm to 7:45 pm. The class is free to Adelphi members and costs $5.00 for non-members (for pool admission). All swimmers must be comfortable in deep water. All ages welcome. Noseclips will be available for purchase for $2.00 or bring your own. A sign up sheet is posted in the entryway.

The menu for Charlie's includes: hot dogs, hamburgers, veggie burgers, and salmon burgers.

Charlie’s is run by the swim team and proceeds from Charlie's fund swim team activities.

CHARLIE’S CAFÉ WILL BE SELLING HAMBURGERS AND HOT DOGS

MEMBERS ARE REQUESTED TO BRING A SIDE DISH AND/OR DESSERT.

RAFT NIGHT

Last Thursday was the first official raft night and it was a BLAST! Every Thursday after 7pm you can bring rafts into the pool. Don’t miss out on the fun! It felt like we were at camp!

SYNCHRONIZED SWIM CLASS

THIS WEEK Synchronized Swim class at Adelphi Pool - Monday June 28th through Friday July 2nd (one week) from 4 pm to 4:45 pm. Any age swimmer is welcome. Younger swimmers must have passed the patch test to swim in deep water. Nose clips can be purchased for $2.00 each from Karin Jackson, or swimmers can bring their own. The class is free for members. Non-members are welcome if they are a guest of a member and have paid the guest fee. There is a sign up sheet posted on the bulletin board outside the locker rooms.

CHARLIE'S CAFÉ

Charlie’s Café is the parent-run snack bar at the pool, and is open every Thursday Night in June and July as well as during Time Trials and at home swim meets and special events. Food is a huge attraction and a big seller during meets, and makes the most money for the pool and the team.

On Memorial Day there will be an Open House for prospective new members. Let's show our community how GREAT Adelphi Pool is and try to recruit some new members! Bring some friends by (we wont be charging guest fees) and show them a good time!

We have scheduled our 2nd and final Teen Night of the season for next Friday, September 4th, from 7:30 - 11:00!

Pizza/Sodas/Nachos/Ice Cream/Games (Slippery Watermelon/Coin Toss/Limbo & Hula Hoop Contests)

VOLUNTEERS ARE NEEDED to shop/set-up/chaperon/cleanup. Please look for a sign-up sheet at the desk this week.

DJ Timmy Mo and hopefully a teen band or two will be playing.

Younger teens would need to be picked up @ 9:30 unless their parent is staying (and hopefully volunteering!).

Feed your family without cooking, and help support the pool at the same time!

Order a large pizza for delivery at 6:30 p.m. on TUESDAY NIGHT

$2.00 of each pizza purchased will be contributed to the Adelphi Pool Swim Team by Three Brothers of University Town Center!

Plain cheese pizza is $13.00 (including tax)

One topping pizza is $15.00 (including tax)

The large pizzas are 16 inches, with 8 LARGE slices per pie.
